Arabi Visual Arts is offering Valentine’s Day Themed photoshoots starting at only $99.
We are only a ten minute drive from the French Quarter in Arabi, directly next to Zeitgeist Theatre, just past Jackson Barracks.
We offer a variety of formats for creating your special 2022 Valentine’s Day memories.

Valentine’s Photo Shoot Options
Shoot with a Professional Photographer
$99 for thirty minute session for one person
Book two sessions for two people & get third one with them together free
Includes 5 digital images suitable for social media, 1 eight by twelve print, and option to buy more prints.
This option is not available for pets sitting alone.
Add $25 for an additional person or pet in the lap.
We will determine the best suited images and make professional corrections to the color, exposure, and cropping. This will NOT include specialized retouching or compositing to change your appearance. Print release is NOT included. This means that prints should be ordered from our website.
DIY – Do It Yourself!
$99 for a forty five minute session.
We will set up the lights and you use our props & backdrops with your own camera.
Guests will have complete privacy, making this an excellent option for boudoir styled shoots.
This option is for two people (the subject and the shooter). Additional guests are welcome at $25 per person/pet.
Photo Booth
$129 for a one hour session
The Photo Booth option affords guests the opportunity to shoot in complete privacy using the studio camera set on automatic shooting mode to shoot one image every 15 seconds. You may provide your own film card if complete privacy is desired, or we can transfer to a small USB device for an additional $25.
Studio Rentals for Photographers & Filmmakers
$200 for half day (four hour) rental with lights, tables, and backdrops.
The photographer will also have 3 solid backgrounds (pink, white, and black) available to pull down to the floor. For seamless effects with paper rolled out on the floor there is a $25 charge PER COLOR if used. Your clients may also use our second studio (6′ X 24′) as a dressing room or your work room during this time.
$400 for full day (10 hour) rental
$400 for overnight rental (12 hours from 9 PM to 9 AM)
Options and Add-Ons
Cake Smashing
$50 per person
Don’t be hating on the 1 year old kids doing cake smashing photos for their birthday, as adults still do it too! We will provide a pack of Valentine cupcakes, plus a small heart shaped cake and some additional cake & candy items for you to play with. This can be added to any of the sessions listed above and includes the cleanup (the studio, not the person)!!
Studio Assistant
Pay an extra fee along with the DIY, Photo Booth, and Studio Rental Options and our studio staff will be on hand to assist with props, lighting, wardrobe, etc.
- $30 for the DIY session
- $20 per hour for the studio rentals. Note – it is not necessary to book this for the entire rental duration.
Free 16 X 24 Print
Get a free 16″ X 24″ print for signing a model release allowing us to use your image for commercial purposes such as fine arts prints for sale, stock photography, etc. This option is only available for the Professional Photographer Option.
The Fine Print – READ THIS
- Deposit: There is a $99 deposit to hold your date and time slot due at the time booking is made. Final payment must be made 24 hours prior to the beginning of your session. This is completely NON REFUNDABLE except in the case that Arabi Visual Arts is not able to honor your time slot for any reason.
- Arrive 15 minutes early – We will allow guests to arrive fifteen minutes early for an introduction to the space and to prepare yourselves. It is up to you to take advantage of this.
- Time extension – If you are running late or need additional time, we will be glad to extend your time at the same rate provided there is nothing scheduled after your slot. There will be a thirty minute minimum for this extension.
- Clean Up – There will be a $25 fee for any special clean up with the exception of the Cake Smashing option which is $50 per session.
- Please call or email with the details of your intentions for a final quote which will be based on the above listed options. Failure to comply with any items in the fine print, or exceeding the number of people/pets paid for may result in forfeiture without refund.

NOTE: This form is to request a formal quote and request a booking. The booking is not confirmed until we have replied to your request, confirmed the availability, you have acknowledged the terms (which will be sent via email), and you have made the reservation deposit of $99.
